Every painting begins long before the first brush (or flower)  touches the canvas.

It begins in ritual, in the lighting of a candle, the gathering of flowers, the quieting of my mind, and the gentle act of listening. I don't approach the canvas with a fixed plan, but with trust that each piece already knows where it is meant to go and whose life it is meant to accompany.

As I paint, I work intuitively with the language of flowers, color, and symbol, allowing each brushstroke to become a prayer and every layer an offering. My hope is not simply to create something beautiful, but to create something that carries a feeling—a living presence that continues to unfold long after it leaves my studio.

 

I believe our homes remember the energy we invite into them. The objects we surround ourselves with quietly shape the way we feel, dream, create, and return to ourselves. Every painting is created with this in mind: infused with intention, reverence, and the quiet hope that it becomes a companion on your own becoming.

Perhaps that is why the right piece often feels less like something you choose and more like something that finds you.
